So for the past 5 days now My AMD A10 7870k Has been freezing my PC when I try to run a video game and it blue screened on a overdrive test. I just installed the latest bios settings, got a extra fan in my PC, and have all the latest APU drivers installed.

The blue screen error codes are 0x00000101
0x00000b
0x00000a
0x0000019

I have downloaded hot fixes for these codes and I still get blue screens.

My full specs are

Motherboard: Asus A88XM-A
GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 960 STRIX
APU AMD A10 7870K @ 3.9GHZ
RAM: 1 stick of 8GBS @ 1600MHZ
HDD: 500GB standard
PSU: 430 watt bronze corsair
OS: windows 7 64 bit pro
case: corsair spec3

All drivers for every single part are up to date.

Ok in the bios is says my CPU temp is +105.8F/+41.0C

And my CPU voltage is 1.464V

Ok so I reset my bios settings and my CPU temp was at 30C but in about 30 seconds jumped to 40C.

And about my PSU I forgot to mention it just now came to me that in the past I have had multiple power surges in my PC that triggered the emergency shut off.

Ok my 12V is Value 12.024 Min 11.952 max 12.024
5V is Value 5.100 min 5.100 max 5.130
3.3V value 3.288 min 3.288 max 3.312

updates my cpu is now at a constant 90F
and my mainboard is at a 98F I have put a extra fan in.

my updated voltage for the cpu is
cores value 0.925 min 0.919 max 1.450

My voltage for the gtx 960 is value 0.862 min 0.862 max 0.862

Everything listed here is from HWMoniter.

I almost forgot my vcore after I reset the bios is the same

Right now I;m over driving my cpu and my motherboard is at 125 degrees F and counting and my cpu is at 102 F but it;s constant.

Just an update I have just finished testing my CPU using AMD overdrive and I made it to round 5 which would be 4500MHZ until my PC crashed into a blue screen and gave me error code 0x00000124.

STOP 0x00000124: WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR
Usual causes: Hardware, Incompatibility, May be driver corruption
This bug check indicates that a fatal hardware error has occurred.

PSU and CPU seem OK

Do a Checkdisk and a Virus scan on your HDD. Use the manufacturers' diagnostic software to check it. What make and model is it?

What temp is your CPU and GPU running at while gaming? What CPU cooler are you using?

Check your ram with Memtest86.

Ok when I do a check disk a black box appears for about 3 seconds then goes away.

my CPU temp when gaming goes to about 105 F but on real extreme set pieces in games bumps to 110 F.
My GPU reaches from 105 F to 110 F also when gaming.

I checked my RAM and no issues were found.

My HDD is a seagate standard harddrive

It is very difficult to get Kaveri cpu's to 4.5 GHz stable. You need a really good board with 6+2 phase power, tons of vcore and very good cooling. At 1.46 vcore that cpu has a lot of heat to dissipate. Having one stick of ram is terrible. You aren't evening running your ram in dual channel mode. Plus as others have said your power supply is under powered. Plus the psu we don't even know who the actual OEM is as Corsair just re brands very crappy power supplies on the low end.

Ok so what I need to do is get another stick of RAM and get a higher wattage and better quality PSU.

My HDD is a seagate barracuda 7200.12 ill list the pin numbers in case you need to know them. S/N 5VME37AG
ST3500418AS
P/N is 9SL142-515
Firmware is CC44
date code is 10487
STX 720012

My CPU cooler is is just the stock one that came with the CPU.

I would strongly suggest lowering the cpu multiplier to 20 and see if you get some stability at that speed 4 GHz. If you keep getting these blue screens your Windows install will corrupt beyond repair. I also am assuming you turned off Turbo Core when you overclocked that cpu?

That cooler is a worthless piece of aluminum. It would be adequate at stock. 3.7 GHz ok. 4.5 GHz no way.
