Just like the title states, I'm gonna start streaming when I build my PC. Is this PC good enough. I just ordered the parts and most of them have arrived still waiting on a few. I'll be streaming CoD, LoL, CSGO, rocket league, minecraft. I will need to record, edit, and render videos to also post to YouTube. Forgot to mention I will be overclocking

Solution
If you boot from the SSD then your OS-based activities, like transferring files and booting your PC will be based on your SSD read/write speeds (will be a ton faster than on your hard drive), versus having your OS on your hard drive, and using your SSD solely for game performance. Both are viable options and just depend on what you want. If you choose not to boot from your SSD, no you do not to reinstall your OS. But if you choose to, you will either have to clone your Hard Drive to your SSD, or reinstall your OS.

Boot from SSD: OS takes up SSD space, faster booting/file transfer stuff.
Boot from Hard Drive: Longer boot times, more space on SSD.
If you can hold out on downloading giant things until you get your SSD, you'll be able to clone over your drive to your SSD to prevent having to reinstall your OS, (assuming you want to boot from the SSD as well).

I'm sorry I'm a little confused. I'm new to this stuff, what is booting from the ssd and I will have to reinstall my OS if I add an ssd?
