I am new to building pc's. I have been using a "gaming" laptop for the last 4 years and am ready for an upgrade. I dont really play many new titles but i play alot of
-CS:GO
-Minecraft
-Elder Scrolls Online (Hopefully)
-WoW
-And maybe a few more

But after doing hours of research here is what i have come up with

-Cpu- Intel i5 4460 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JIJUBAS/ref=ox_sc_act_title_5?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
-Case- Thermaltake Versa h23 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IZGWIRY/ref=ox_sc_act_title_6?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
-Power - EVGA 500w
-Storage - 1tb Western digital
-Motherboard - MSI z97 PC mate http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00K23BW70/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
-Ram - HyperXFury 8gb http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00J8E8ZLK/ref=ox_sc_act_title_4?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
-GPU - Gigabyte GTX 960 G1 Gaming 2gb http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00SD9KZCI/ref=ox_sc_act_title_7?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

And once again i dont need anything that can run the new "hot" title that has insane graphics on ultra. Just something that can play at max settings on 1080p
I know there are probably other threads but i wanted a current one because the market is always changing.
*Don't want to spend over $800 because im going to college soon and will have to buy a laptop aswell. Thanks!

Solution
My PC is pretty much identical, except the CPU which is a i5-4690K at stock frequency. Any game i throw at it runs at 100FPS or higher (i don't play those insane graphics games as well).

Your build looks well balanced and i approve it completely.
