is this a good build?

It is a geinus build! No seriously though I would try to get a cheaper monitor to beef up your graphics card. It's not very good for gaming.

Or you could get rid of one of the dvd drives or cooler, but I would try to get at least a r7 260 or Gtx 750.

if you're going for 4gb ram, make it 2x2gb (not a single 4gb stick) DDR3 1600mhz so you get dual channel mode, with that budget I'd probably get an AMD APU instead, but that would be better with at least 8gb ram.

well like i said im on a budget 😉 but if you could reccomend any monitor cheaper than this that would be good and if you could help me with sata cables, like do you know what type i would need for this build and could you give me the best parts for a 500 gaming pc? im begging you

can you tell me what i need and dont need because i am having a really hard time on what to change

This is the best you are going to get for that budget, I went with 1x 4gb stick of ram because a) it was cheaper and b) you can put 4 more gb in later to have 8 gb. thanks but the budgets 510 if there is anything you can change than it would be good

Does it require one?

You could use a thumb drive to put windows on instead if you have a thumb drive. Or if you have an old computer with a cd drive you could maybe use that?

You may just have to go a lil over budget if you want good gaming performance 🙁
