Is this a good build?

it's a good build but do youself a favor and get a 2 by 4 kit. Second of all, that 120 gig SSD is going to run out extremely quick, so get an SSD that has at least 240 gigs. As for the HDD get a seagate barracuda, if its cheaper that is. And finally get something that isn't a CX PSU or an RM PSU. I cant edit it so i cant make all these changes into a different partslist.

Good build unless you over clock the cx and Rm power supply will do fine otherwise look else where now a 120 ssd will be just fine for your os and maybe a few programs but like said above a good 1 to 2 TB mechanical drive should be used to off load other programs and games and yes 2x4 on the ram don't do a single stick unless you have to.. Otherwise good build and enjoy.

Here's something I think you'd like, Went for a White/Black theme using high quality parts that I don't think would fail on you anytime soon.

Switched the 970 for a 290X, Cheaper and performs better. (Also looks pretty sexy don't you think?)

And extra wattage doesn't really hurt, If your system only uses 500 it may be be worth it if you get a quality 750+ unit if it means you have more headroom for upgrades in the future. (And a 1000W is recommended for Crossfire in the future, so I included the Leadex which should do the job fine.)
