Hi I made this list on Newegg, just wondering if this is a good build for the money. I will be doing some moderate gaming and may overclock at some point, which then I would buy a different CPU cooler. Just wondering. Thanks!

I will be playing diablo 3, running a minecraft server, and some internet browsing. Also i may overclock sometime in the future.

i would personally stay away from rosewill PSU from experience

upgrade that SSD into a vertex 4 which is much faster

and i would add a hyper 212 evo since you did add a i5 3570k which OCs if you do not want to OC downgrade it into a i5 3470 or the new FX CPUs which are pretty decent i have to say.

Rosewill Hive, and Capstone are OK. Generally avoid their other offerings. XFX, Seasonic, PC Power& Cooling, Antec, and better Corsairs, are decent.

of course the CPU cooler can be removed if you like.

changed the Mobo into a more well known brand, change GPU into something stronger.

case on the other hand is a bit expensive if it is to expensive for your taste i would recommend something like 300R or 400R from corsair.

Only issue, I think OP needs OS. If then struggling with budget, drop case to Carbide 300R, or Antec 300 Two is decent. Would try to keep good graphics, if necessary, postpone SSD. It's something that could be added, later.

500W is enough, but it does not leave room for an SLI/CFX.

just downgrade case into something like a 200R or 400R

but i would much rather have you get the 1TB instead of the 500GB. the 1TB is just $10 more for double the space.

win7 can be torrented to save money and same with microsoft office, other choices is to get something different than office such as openoffice

which videocards would you recommend in the $160-190 price range? I dont need sli or crossfire, so i guess the 500 watt would be enough. Also, I'm afraid I need to keep both the OS and microsoft office.

There's not a great selection of "good" cards, in that range. The GTX 650Ti, or 1GB HD7850's fall in that range, although it's worth trying to get, at least a 2GB HD7850, for which there are a few offerings just under $200, like the MSI HD7850 TwinFrozr 900MHz, which is quite good.

That's OK, subject to a couple of points.
Would recommend you use GSKill Ares, Corsair CML, or Crucial Ballistix Sport, low profile RAM, so you have a free choice of what cooler, you may wish to fit, if you want to overclock.
The EVGA version of GTX660 is OK, but the MSI TwinFrozr version of that one, again, has better performance, cooler, and quieter, for about $5 more.
