is this a good cheap build for gaming?

So I posted a thread yesterday about AMD vs Intel processors just to get a good look at it and i have decided to go down the budget path with some AMD. But here is now the build idea that I have come up with.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/9BZ6TH

I specifically picked that motherboard because of the fact that it supports DDR3 ram and Im trying to keep this as cheap as possible. The current computer I bought from Best Buy has an 8gb stick of DDR3 and a 4gb stick of DDR3. So my plan is to just carry over that ram into the new system that this would be used for.

The graphics card is one that a friend is gifting me because he bought a 1080 for himself and offered to give it to me because I only have a 2gb graphics card

This computer that I bought from Best Buy had a 2 tb hard drive in it so I am just going to carry that over as my hard drive for this new computer if I get the parts.

And since Microsoft does the account has 3 windows keys, would my windows account still have that key to be useable on this new computer? Or would it be in the hard drive so it would still be fine anyways?

So would this build fully combined be a great/good gaming pc thatw ill allow ultra graphic playing level and be able to handle it?

The case of this computer is too small to fit good graphics card in to it because of the design of the pc. Whenever you pull back the side of the pc, the hard drive slots are right there blocking spce and ti is one big metal sheet that cant be removed.

I mean that FX card is still rated above 70% of processors out there and is still able to run games pretty well according to reviews. So that's one reason why im picking it. Ryzen and things appear to only be supported by motherboards that only sup[ort DDR4 and I wanna reuse this 8 gb ram and not have to spend $80

I was thinking about just using the 8 gb to not have a matching issue.

Much better perform if you can spend more: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=azX4Qs7n2_Q

My main worry is a price tag because im trying my best to keep the price low in order to possibly get a few parts from family members this holiday season too xD. So would the plan I had originally be perfectly fine and work but what you sent is the better modern version?

Yeah I get what you are saying it is just that I would not like to spend $90 on 8 gbs of ram whenever I already have an 8gb ram of DDR3 event though DDR4 is somewhat better than DDR3. That's one of the main things that Im worried about. I would be fine with the ryzen 3 t is just that I'm afraid of spending $90 on just 8gbs of ram. :[

No. If I were you I would listen to the advice that was given to you. For example, your choice of CPU is not the best. Also, ditch your old RAM and buy new RAM.

Didn't really want to get into this, but can't resist :pfff: ... Why buy new at all if wanting to keep things cheap? Look at Ebay or similar for a good used i5 4xxx/3xxx with matching motherboard or a used 2600(K) with Z68/Z77 motherboard.

You really want the impossible since wanting to game at ultra for as low budget as possible.:sarcastic:

You don't need an SSD at all, and a HDD will not slow down your gaming unless the ram is full. It would mainly just improve load time for some games.
