Been trying to figure out why it cost so much? It's an i5-6400 and GTX 960 2GB. I'm guessing the monitors and Windows?
If you want to spend $2,000, you can set aside $400 for the monitor, mouse, and keyboard, So that leaves you with $1600 for at least an i5-6600K + after market cooler, z170 motherboard, 8GB x2 (16GB) of ram, 750 watt PSU (Gold or Plat certified), GTX 1070 (maybe even a 1080), with a nice looking case. My job's proxy doesn't allow me to create lists on PcPartPIcker, but just view them. But if I had to get, what I mentioned abovee should fit in...
