I think you will be alright the only thing I would change is the PSU i would atleast go for a 850w crossfire certified PSU.

The only way you can flash the bios is if you have a reference card with dual bios setup. I am not for sure or not but I think you will have a next to impossible time to fine a reference card. (I am prolly wrong :)) Most of the newer 6950's have a locked bios setup.
