Solution
Nope. That processor isn't unlocked, it only has 4 cores (not desirable for long-term use since 4 cores is becoming the minimum for gaming going forward), the motherboard doesn't support overclocking, and the graphics card is probably minimum spec for any new AAA release games coming out soon.

As WildCard999 proved and jankerson said, for that price you can get a better system for less, new (which means warranty/RMA if something goes awry).

Too much for used.

For the same price you can get a better system.

If there is such a disproportionate price for used PCs where you live, then I honestly cant tell you if it's a good deal.

Personally, for that system, it would cost maybe $1050 CAD new, but with its age, the state of technology, and the current prices here, I might be willing to pay $600 CAD at most. But for where you live, you may just have to browse local websites and find several systems of similar component builds to see what the value is in your country.

I mean, I really hope someone here can make it easy for you, but this is out of my wheelhouse. Good luck!

I'm not sure of the conversion either, check the prices of a local or online used market and see if they match up to what your friend is charging for the system.
