Is this a good deal?

I have friend selling a computer and he says he is giving me a good deal but I don't know a lot about computer. He gave me a list of the parts so I'll list them and you guys can tell me what you think. thank you.

fx6300, m5a97 r2.0, r9 270x, 212evo, 8gb gskill sniper 1866, 1tb hd, evga 600b power supply, wireless internet adapter, rosewill challenger case, windows 8 retail, 24in lcd monitor, keyboard and mouse.

He wants 400 for everything. thanks again for any feedback.

It's a fair deal. The CPU is going out of date as time goes on. The system would benefit from an SSD.

These parts will be out of date soon, but can't complain for the price.

it's a fair deal....power power supply is poor and i would replace it but worth the cost all the same.

The FX6300 is not a great CPU at this point. If your budget allows, would be better off spending more money and building a new Intel i5, but will definitely spend more.
