Hey guys i want a few opinions on this gaming rig, i have one at the moment that ive had for around 2 1/2 years and its been running my games that i play fine but some downsides with some games on fps and im looking to build my own $1000 Build (Australian Dollars) and ive done research on all these parts and contemplated on them and when i do get the money i hopefully will be buying this, so just want some opinions if theres somethings to get better over parts but yeah here

Corsair Vengeance 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) DDR3
WD Blue 1TB Desktop Internal Hard Drive
Intel Core i5-4690 Processor
Phanteks Enthoo Pro Full Tower Chassis with Window Cases
EVGA GeForce GTX 970 Super Clocked ACX 2.0 4GB GDDR5
Corsair CS650M Modular 80 Plus Gold Power Supply
MSI H97-Gaming 3 Motherboard (Might Change)

Solution

It depends on your inclination towards performance vs aesthetics .
Max perfromance -> h81/91 based board with an SSD 256gb (so that games can easily fit in Ssd with windows)
medium performance with some aesthetics -> h97 PC mate / gigabyte h97 d3h or other entry level board with 128Gb SSD
max aesthetics-> MSI H97-Gaming 3 Motherboard with additional CPU fans and a PSU powered LED unit sets.

Also seasonic is a more reputed brand than Corsair , since seasonic manufactures corsair High end series . But If you have better corsair Support for warranty in your region, go for it.
And a Single 8 gb unit is advised , since it is cheaper , while the performance improvements are less than 10% , that too only for Ram intensive tasks ,and gaming is really not one of these. Also it gives the option of dual channelling for 16Gb ram when you want in the future.

That is a very nice build. Might not qualify as "future" though. To maximize performance buy an SSD, they are dirt cheap these days. Also get a BETTER PSU. If you ever need to upgrade the gpu, 650 watts won't cut it. Also, the CS/CX series are not very well built. Perhaps an RM 750 would be better, or maybe a Seasonic M12II-750.
