I just want to ask before I buy if this is a good gaming desktop to buy at £870
With the following specs:
Windows 7 h.p
Ati hd 6970 2gb
i5 3579k quadcore ivy bridge 3.4GHz processor ( over clocked to 3.8)
8gb corsair vengeance
1tb hard drive
750w power supply
Asus mother board
Standard cd DVD drive
Standard intel cooling fan and heat sink
Is this a good setup?

Its OK you can build a better system for that price but its OK for a prebuilt machine if you don't want to self build.

Your using the same Processor I'll be going with in my next build. A Standard Fan/Heatsink from Intel is ok, for some moderate overclock, so it should work fine for your build aslong as your case has a decent ammount of airflow.
