I'm getting it for $1600. Is that a good price? Or could I get it cheaper if I buy the parts

If you make it yourself it will be $300+cheaper. I'd suggest making it yourself as it isn't as hard as it seems.

]Ok so this is what I got on newegg for $852:

Hard drive: Western digital WD black 1TB-$ 90
Mobo:Gigabyte ga970a SATA 6gb/s usb 3.0- $110
Sound card creative sound blaster-$30 ... Is a sound card needed?
and a key board and mice and thermal paste
MemoryG.SKILL rip jaws series 4gb- $41
Processor: AMD FX-8120 Zambezi 3.1 GHz -$150
Cooling: CORSAIR Hydro series h50- $60

P.S. The PSU comes with case

Bad idea... let me help you out give me a second :)

You forgot the OS, but my build includes it and is generally around the same price. However it uses better parts and the $20 price difference is justified.

No problem :) Also after watching a tutorial you'll soon see its only a matter of screwing and connecting the parts together.

Also don't forget to pick a best solution and solve this thread 😉
