Question game crashing

Hello everyone,

I hope you're doing well. I’m reaching out for some help regarding an issue I’ve been experiencing while gaming. I’m running a system with the specs listed below, and although I typically play games on low settings to manage performance, I still encounter noticeable frame rate drops. While I’m able to get by, the main problem occurs with one particular game. It randomly freezes during gameplay, where I can still hear the sound, but I’m unable to interact with the game or click on anything. The freeze only resolves once the sound stops, and during this time, I can’t close the application. The only solution I’ve found is to reset my PC.

Interestingly, this issue only happens at the same point in the game each time. I’ve checked with my friends, and they’re able to play the game without any issues—no freezing or crashing. Considering that the game has over 20 million users and they don’t seem to experience this problem, I’m wondering if there’s something specific to my PC or GPU causing this.

I’ve noticed similar freezes in other games as well, not just this one. I’m hoping someone might have some insight into what could be causing these types of freezes across different games. What would typically cause a game to freeze like this? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much in advance!

What game are you taxing the system with? Speaking of system's, you're specs are incomplete. When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

As in restart the PC or reset the OS?
