Question Bluetooth From Non Bluetooth Projector to Bluetooth Soundbar

Hello all,

Hopefully someone can give me some advice. When I present PowerPoint presentations and videos, I have a projector connected directly to my laptop via HDMI. I am looking to purchase a Bluetooth capable soundbar to mount in the classroom approximately 2 meters away. Whilst in this configuration, can I purchase a Bluetooth dongle to plug into my non-bluetooth projector (USB port exists) to push the sound from the projector to the soundbar? The projector does play sound, but a very low quality and volume.

Instead of pushing sound from laptop to projector and back to soundbar, why not just push the audio portion from the laptop to the soundbar?

Thank you for the reply. How would I set that up if the hdmi connection is porting the sounds and image to the projector? Laptop settings I would assume?

Pair the sound bar to the laptop via BT. Then change your laptop sound settings to use it.
