Is this a Good Gaming pc build

Hi Everyone

I am currently looking to buy my first gaming pc and have come up with the following build, i would just like to know if you thinks its anygood plus if everything is compatible with one another. Im pretty sure it is but I want get second opinions before i order the parts.

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z77-D3H Motherboard

CPU: Intel i5 2500k

Video Card: Sapphire Radeon HD7850 2gb OC

Case: NZXT Guardian 921RB Blue

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

Optical Drive: Lite-On IHAS324 24x DVDRW

Hard Drive: Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB WD1002FAEX

Memory: 2 x (Corsair CMX4GX3M2A1600C9 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3)

Monitor: Samsung S24B300H 24in Widescreen LED Monitor

Power Supply: OCZ Technology ZT Series 750W Power Supply

I will be ordering parts from Pc Case Gear so if you have any suggestions to change part of the build if you could find a simararly priced product off there it would be very helpful.

Is that ram a pair of 4gb kits(2 x 2gb) giving a total of 8gb,
Or, is it a 4gb kit of 2 x 2gb?

Regardless, I would suggest a single 8gb kit of 2 x 4gb. 2 separate kits may not be supported by corsair.

If you can, try and go for an SSD for either boot and high speed storage, or cache.
Also, try to bump up to a 7870 GHz Edition.
A Z68 motherboard wouldn't be bad either. The real difference is that Z77 has Intel controlled USB 3.0. a Z68 motherboard with USB 3.0 will do just fine.

I've already gone over what my budget was going to be, i don;t think i could afford to go up to the 7870 card, thanks for the suggestion though.

Ram is cheap.

Ram speed does not much impact fps or real app speed with sandy bridge. Read this:
