CPU: Intel i5 2500k

Video Card: Sapphire Radeon HD7850 2gb OC

Case: NZXT Guardian 921RB Blue

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

Optical Drive: Lite-On IHAS324 24x DVDRW

Hard Drive: Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB WD1002FAEX

If you can, try and go for an SSD for either boot and high speed storage, or cache.
Also, try to bump up to a 7870 GHz Edition.
A Z68 motherboard wouldn't be bad either. The real difference is that Z77 has Intel controlled USB 3.0. a Z68 motherboard with USB 3.0 will do just fine.

I've already gone over what my budget was going to be, i don;t think i could afford to go up to the 7870 card, thanks for the suggestion though.

All right then, happy to help. I'll watch out for more posts to try and help.

Ram is cheap.
I would suggest this g.skil 8gb kit for $ 47 : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231314
1333 ram is almost as good for $ 40: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231422
Ram speed does not much impact fps or real app speed with sandy bridge. Read this:

Here is a study on the value of 8gb:
