Its a very unbalanced system..... if it was a car it would have a 650 HP engine and a tranny that could only handle 200 HP. ya didnt give a budget but this is $1844

Given the parts it will game but for how much its going to cost you could do better. For gaming you don't need an X79, i7, and 16Gb of ram. For the same price or less you could get a good i5, with 8Gb of ram and a better video card. Also building it yourself can also drop down the price.
