Build Advice Is this a good gaming rig? (NEW)

If you can get 3200mhz speed RAM, its usually only a couple bucks

Unless you really are in love with that case I would get something cheaper then put the money you save into a either a 1660ti or maybe a 500GB SSD. (Samsung and Crucial 500GB are both well under 100 dollars these days)

I think i'm gonna stick with the case i like it, but it was $10 more for 3200. I could go that far.
Would a 250gb ssd work?

Yes, a 250GB class SSD would work. You could get a good deal on an intel 660p NVME SSD right now.
Solid state drives aren't required and a SATA HDD will work, however, solid state drives are now really inexpensive and can make your boot and program load times a quarter of what they would be on an HDD.
SSDs also draw less power and are more reliable than a traditional hard drive. Once you switch to an SSD you will never want to go back to a hard drive as a boot drive.
Also, 3200mhz ram for AMD Ryzen is a good idea.
BTW you can get a 3tb 7200rpm hdd for less than that 1tb drive costs.

If you were to omit that case you could get this setup
