Is this a good gaming rig?

That motherboard is INSANELY cheap on a 5 year old chipset. You WILL NOT be able to overclock anything. Also 16gb RAM is pointless for gaming. 8gb is more than you would ever need.

The price isn't bad but you could build you own and know the quality vs buying a shoddy prebuilt off ebay.

No, it is not. The motherboard is an ancient-tech 700-series chipset board with a modern socket tacked onto it. The PSU is the non-modular version, which was built with some inferior Samxon capacitors that do not like heat and are known for early failure. It apparently doesn't include a cooler, which you'd need for overclocking, and it does not include the OS or any peripherals, so add those to the price. You would do better to build your own.

Dont know whether its a good price, but what I do know is that mobo is not going to do very well with that 8350. It uses the old 760g chipset which does not have proper support for any of the fx cpu's. If you check gigabytes site, they require a bios update to do so. If it does take the 8350 it will be bottlenecked.
