Is this a good HDD speed?

I have a 4-5 years old laptop and i want to know if changing my HDD would make it run faster.

Not changing to a different hard drive, but changing to a solid state drive (SSD), would make WORLDS of difference in performance. I'd recommend swapping in something like a Samsung 860 EVO or Crucial MX 500. You're talking magnitudes faster than that hard drive you have.

i want at least 700 gb of storage and i don't have the buget to afford such an ssd, but i can get an 1TB WD Black

Health looks good (no relocated or pending sectors).
You're allowing it to get rather warm at times, but still within acceptable limits.

Are you sure 500GB would not be enough?
You can get Crucial MX500 500GB for ~80eur.

Alternatively you could replace DVD drive of your laptop with caddy and put your old hdd in there.

i didn't know what a caddy was and it seems perfect since my dvd drive was broken anyway

i don't know what caddy should i buy to fit my hp probook 470 g1
