perix-px-2000
from what i could read some cons..
-cheap plastic feel and flimsy (it bends when you push down on it)
-keys are stiff unlike some keyboards (making it uncomfortable to use)
-some of the leds are bright (which can be annoying)
-macro keys are in a bad area (meaning you press them accidentally)
keep in mind that you do not necessarily need a "gaming" keyboard and mouse. you can use "office" keyboards and mice as well. they normally have the same functions but with a reduced pricetag. i used such products for years.
if you want gaming products (well...any product) for cheap then realize its going to be very hit or miss with quality. you need to read all of the bad reviews to see what the flaws are.
i would definitely grab a razer deathadder for about $35-40. its a solid mouse and i've had mine for years. an alternative would be any of the gaming mice from logitech. good stuff and on ebay you can get them for a good deal off msrp.
as far as keyboards are concerned... a cheaper keyboard from logitech is always a good choice. the keys are typically quiet touch which are low resistance, low height keys which are easy to press (again i said typically.... read reviews).
you can really feed the difference between cheap and not cheap. i'm on a $9 replacement keyboard right now (my main keyboard broke and i cant budget a new one yet) and i can tell you that i hate it. you dont want to spend alot on a computer then cheap out on perepherals as they are your only input devices and are very important.
