Is this a good monitor?

This appears to be a good monitor for the price but to me this monitor seems outside my circle. I don't know what it is I just feel like this monitor has a chance of being crap when I plug it in to do my gaming. What is your opinion? Can I have suggestions on good gaming monitors around the same price?

Man I feel like an idiot right now! My graphics card is a Zotac GeForce GTX 970 4GB and my monitor is an LG 27EC33V-B 27.0"

It's a good monitor, but there is a drawback.

As you can see from my stats, I also have the GTX 970, and its an amazing card. The ONLY thing that bugs me about my setup is the monitors limiting my FPS to 60 (Vsync).

I'd highly recommend exploring some 144Hz monitor options. You can find them for as low as $250 now.

Normally you don't want a 27 inch monitor with only 1980X1080 resolution. You can see the pixels. Also it is only 200cd/m^2. Normally you want a brightness of at least 300cd/m^2 (candles per square meter)

It all depends on you. If you have sharp eyes, the 1920 resolution on the 27 screen will bother you. If you have quick eyes, (I don't) you may want the quick monitors. I have a 60Hz 2560X1600 30 inch monitor and run games at 30Hz sometimes. It is fine for me, but will drive others batty.

Amazon seems way over priced compared to newegg though. Well guess ill wait for a sale, this monitor seems to be a me monitor and I actually have a good feeling about it (Mostly because it is an acer product) and yes I have sharp eyes (and high level OCD)
