Hi all, Just tried my hand at overclocking my first build. Specs are as follows:

Mobo: MSI 970 Gaming AM3+
CPU: AMD FX8320E 3.2GHz
PSU: XFX Core Edition 450W
Ram: 8GB DDR3 1600MHz

I have managed to get an overclock of 4.0GHz on STOCK cooler with what i think is pretty cool temps.

Idle the temps range from 8-20C and on full load i have not seen more than 55C

Is this a decent overclock and could i push for more?

Usually its not recommended to oc with a stock cooler, and the one on the 8320 is not a very good one, so i didnt understand how the hell where you able to get those temps, but from what i can see you have two delta fans running at 4000 RPM and 7000 rpm. So thats helping out a lot. You have a good mobo and a good psu (altough maybe its on the edge because you have an amd 200 gpu). But yeah, i think that you could push it even more.

I have tested a few games and right now I'm playing farcry 4 on VERY HIGH with 60FPS and no drop at all. Temps on GPU are just under 70C and have not gone above and CPU temps have not gone above 40C
