Well the Xbone X has a setting for better 1080p (be it 60FPS+ or higher settings)

To get started this would be the barest of budget builds. RAM, Board and case you can get cheaper but I'm not sure how well Ryzen will take to super cheap RAM and you really should have 16GB but you have 4 slots so you can always upgrade later. The board is important for upgrade path etc and the case is important for ease of build. (Sharp, cheap case = cuts)

Overall it is cheap but you can swap out the CPU later for any other...
Appreciate the help, would you say I should get the build you posted and will it run games like total warhammer maybe even 2, magic the gathering Europa universalis 4, dota 2 and games like that, im not all the big into fps shooters on PC more strategy games.

I ran the 2400g as a test for a few months and could get decent performance on FPS. Overwatch 1080p low was around 70FPS, rocket league 1080p low was over 60. Posting a review on the 2200g vs 2400g that's worth a read. There's not much difference between 3000 and 3200mhz RAM btw. Although you might suffer slight knocks for only having 8GB.

And there's videos and articles on XMP explaining it. Just read the board manual on which slots to use for RAM. There's an A and B pair and it does tell you where to put them (generally it's marked with colours so put them both in the grey slots or both in the black slots for example)

Also in the build I posted be careful of storage you'll only have 180GB after the OS so a 1TB HDD add on later for more games is advised.

Yeah, I noticed the sdd size, I have a 1tb external I could possibly use in the mean time. I've seen something before about putting the ram into a certain slot but I cant remember what it was,it was a while back my I first started trying to get together a build on here but I ran into money issues so I'm back but using youtube and people here have helped me alot. I feel like I learn something new everytime.

On the board In the build I believe they're marked by colour.

An external HDD will be slow as hell but a decent workaround until you can get a proper SATA one or SSD

It's a generic aluminum box with holes in it. So a bit sturdier than the mostly plastic masterbox lite. This case is often recommended to those on a budget due to the space it has inside and the good airflow that can be had with just a single fan in the back.

On phone so can’t @ you now but generally I find American sales in the UK to be a waste of time. Generally items are increased in price and then put on sale for around the same as they were to start with. For example last year I was looking at motherboards and one was around £100 down from like £140. Looked on BF-CM sales and it was around the same price but down from 180.

@jason

Stop attaching the master box! Personally not a case I’d buy myself but it’s fairly decent, won’t cut your hands to shreds and has enough room to manage cables. Saying that nkt a fan of the windowed side panel without a PSU shroud/basement.

3 cases that are fine to use.

I'm not attacking the masterbox lite. I am just stating a designflaw which was later corrected in a version of the case that is identical except it has a mech front panel instead of the plastic.

It has been stated by many reviewers that box the masterbox lite 5.1 and masterbox lite 3.1 have terrible airflow and create hotboxes. This is why I want to prevent micheal from buying this case as whilst it will be ok with the config he has now if he adds in a gpu later it's going to become a serious issue. causing him to either contact cm for a mesh frontpanel which costs about 25 pounds including shipping, mod the frontpanel or get a new case.
