The extra thermal compound is not necessary at all.
Also, the 850 PRO SSDs are much faster and only $30 more if you can spare the money.
The RAM is excessivley fast, with the speeds only marginally increasing performance by less than 1%, so go with something like this: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/patriot-memory-pvl38g186c0kr for cheaper - spend the saved money on a 850 PRO SSD.

Recommendations:

MSI have poor QC with their motherboards. Try Asus, Gigabyte, ASRock.

Don't run 2400MHz for gaming. It is pointless unless you do editing/rendering.

Why a 7ms monitor for gaming. Aim for 1ms or 2ms. Or a 5ms if you go with an IPS monitor.
