I have been saving up for a while now so that i can buy a really powerful set up. I plan to do a lot of video editing, graphic design, and gaming. Before i buy everything i would like to know what others think. I don't know very much about computers so please help me out.

Great for video editing and graphic designing. Also good for gaming.
 
For USD2000-3000
I would edit a bit the list from King Dranzer until you see a rig fit to your budget.
e.g. only 16GB RAM, cheaper case, drop the Wifi if you do not need it, etc.

You can also re-allocate component prices
e.g. get only Ryzen 7 1700, B350 mobo, 16Gb RAM, cheaper case, smaller PSU capacity, but get better monitor like XB271HU.
Do not get 4k yet for now, especially if you do not aim to have 32" or bigger. It is better to have 1440p + 144/165Hz monitors.

You have quite plenty of options for that price range.
 


No need to edit that much. Simply throw in 16GB RAM instead of 32GB
The reason I went with Threadripper is because OP does heavy productive work which utilizes and performs well with more number of cores.
