Hello,

I am looking to upgrade my PC and I would like to know if these components would work together:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 ($146.00)
MOBO: GIGABYTE A320M-S2H ($63.00)
RAM: Corsair DDR4 8gb 2400MHz ($53.00)
GPU: Gigabyte AMD Radeon RX 580 Gaming 8gb (I currently have this card in my PC)
PSU: Corsair VS550 (I currently have this PSU in my PC)

Is this build good enough to run games like Hunt: Showdown and is an 550W PSU enough to hold that build?

I currently have this setup:

CPU: AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz (OCed to 4.5GHz)
MOBO: ASRock 970 Pro3 R2.0
RAM: 16gb RAM
GPU: Gigabyte AMD Radeon RX 580 Gaming 8gb
PSU: Corsair VS550

Ryzen really loves ram speed so if possible get 3000MHz of RAM at least which Corsair VS do you have? because honestly if you have the model I am thinking of you may wanna upgrade that too.

Thank you for the response.

I currently have a Corsair VS550.

I heard that it’s not a high quality PSU but would it be enough to run this setup?

Can you explain what you mean by B Series MOBO please and do you have any examples of B Series MOBOs?

The "A" series doesn't allow overclock, by default, through BIOS. "B" series mobo/chipset will. You will realize much more seat of the pants bang for the buck dollar spent with a good OC to the CPU over a few hundred GHz RAM speed.

From a desktop performance perspective, I would look around for a value B chipset and an SSD, as those will have much more "feel the difference"...if you had to choose one or the other, go SSD. The biggest reason I would suggest looking further into mobo is such that you don't have to rebuild system when you decide to make that jump.
SSD over HDD is HUGE, even with a value SSD.
