Question Is this a GPU issue?

Video showing issue
Almost everytime I wake my monitor from sleeping the screen will flicker with black vertical lines sometimes resulting in a completely black screen where I will have to reconnect the DP cable to return the picture and then it will be fine. It only happens in this specific scenario never at any other time. I have tried using a different DP cable and different port. In the video it didn't result on a completely black screen but alot of the time it does.
My GPU is 7900xtx and the monitor is AW3423DWF

Most probably GPU and/or monitor driver or Windows issue. Also check OSD settings in monitor for Power saving options.
