I am wondering is this is a legit product. $20 for a 1TB portable ssd drive seems fishy at best. Similar products are at sams but sale for $70.

It's probably junk..... for 20 bucks what have you got to lose?
I would not put anything important on it until I had done some serious testing.

Not a chance.

There is a small flash drive inside that. Firmware rewritten to present as 1TB. But really only holds 16GB or so.

A real 1TB external SSD is around $100

Buy one.
Fill it up with 900GB of data. It will even tell you it is OK.

Now, take that drive to a different PC, and extract that "900GB" of data. You'll find it is not there.

This is the only review from their 1tb external SSD.
35 bucks.

Pros: -They are small
- They do appear to contain 1TB of space
Cons: - Unable to retrieve data from the drives
- Data becomes corrupt on the drives and unable to open or play

Samsung or Crucial 2TB for ~$170 is a much better choice.

Obvious?...perhaps....but if the op goes in with eyes wide open then it's their call.

It's one thing to express an opinion it's something else to make it sound like fact....."obvious fake".

I don't have one of the things in hand so I'll stick with 'probably junk'.

It is my opinion that it is an obvious fake.

1TB @ $20....Seeing as no valid make sells a 1TB SSD, internal or external, for that price point...Samsung/Crucial/SanDisk/WD
