Question Is this a sign that my PSU is too weak for my GPU?

Hi everyone. I noticed that when I had a GTX 1660, every now and then I'd go to use my PC (Windows 10 Pro) and there'd still be a display but Windows would be frozen. Downgrading to a GTX 780 eliminated this issue. Now that I've upgraded to an RTX 2060 a couple days ago it just happened again. I have a BeQuiet Pure Performance power 11 500 Watt. Might this symptom simply be that my PSU isn't strong enough for my card or should I be concerned that something else is wrong? I posted my Hardware Monitor stats a couple weeks ago and nothing was abnormal.
I have an i9 10900kf 3.7ghz, 32gb ddr4 ram. I read that reboots and the BSoD can be signs but nothing about the frozen display. Thanks.

how old is the PSU? if it's old, its time to replace the PSU

PP 11 500w cant be older than about 5 years but the PSU isn' t the issue here. Windows freeze is not a PSU thing.
Remove the GeForce drivers with DDU and install again.
What's the brand and model of the motherboard?
Is the motherboard BIOS fully up to date?

MSI Mag Bazooka B460M . I could try the BIOS. Its been a couple years. Could it be that I'm using Windows RTX drivers and didn't bother with Nvidia's?

That MB has a very weak VRM for a 10900K. Could be thermal throtteling with higher CPU usage.

Download and install the nvidia driver for your card directly from nvidia.

Cleaning out with ddu is probably not necessary, but would not hurt.

I did just now. Now I wait, lol ... btw, I'm not sure what thermal throttling or VRM is :/
