Is this bad for the components?

hey guys, I just had a quick question about a computer(my first) that I'm building. I was unsure about what to do about a lot of things when building it. When I say i was unsure I mean I would power the system on just to see if I plugged in one component correctly and then power it off and then power it back on when I hooked up another component and then powered it off again. I did this a decent amount of times to where I'm thinking it could be bad to turn for the components to power off and on so many times when very little time has passed. I think i'm freaked out about this because it is the first computer I've built EVER and it wasn't cheap. Are these fears justified?

This is not the ideal situation but should cause no issues with the complete build! I wouldn't worry too much about it and enjoy your successful new build!!
