Is this BS? 50% increase from new HSF?

this guy claims his performance went up by 50% or more just by adding a new HSF. I think its a load of crap, but tell me what you think.

NO, he was TRYING to say that the Geforce 3 gave him 50% better scores than his GTS. The heatsink was not related to the rest of what he said.

I had to waste a PCI slot for my Geforce2 HSF. But I had 6 PCI slots anyway. But the new CPU heatsink I put on the GPU yesterday cooled my GeForce another 8f. Now I'm running 220core/364mem at 112f/44c MAX load conditions.

I thought I was wrong once, but I was mistaken.

One major reason he got a 50% better score, other than due to more powerful chip is that with geforce 3 he gets marks for the nature game. so obviosly his mark increases big time.

On many newer boards PCI1 shares an IRQ with the AGP slot. Which means allmost noone will install a card in PCI1 anyway.So it is already a wasted slot.
