that depends on what you are planning to use this PC for. do let me know and I will help you where I can. i hope it isn't gaming because you definitely need a gpu and perhaps more ram for that purpose

Will give you more performance and better bang for your buck imo. You are getting latest platform and better igpu.

Antec VSK-3000B-U3/U2 Micro-ATX Computer Case - Black £27 on amazon
Aerocool QC-203 M ATX Case USB 3.0 Rubber Coated with Interior - £23 on amazon

Used them both, no complaints

You suggested this other CPU which is of similar price but higher performance. However the motherboard appears to be quite a bit more expensive (its not available from BT shop). Is the extra price worth it?

The memory is also £35 (not £25) so i would probably pass on that.

The ram is 8gb in my build. 4gb DDR4 ram is about £15.

Edit: The motherboard has 2 USB 3 ports. Get the latest platform if you have the budget imo. It is an investment after all. The HDD is also bigger. Change it to the 320gb model you listed first and you are looking at similar price to the hasswell build.
