Is this build good enough for that? Or how can I make it better without spending a lot more (£400 / $570 is my budget)?

Solution
I'd recommend going with a Intel i3-6100 and compatible motherboard instead. You're kinda painting yourself into a corner with the FX-series chip, there isn't much upgrade potential. I know you're saying quad core is better than dual core right? The FX-4300 performs so badly that this actually isn't true, even in multi-threaded applications.

Most people don't recommend the Corsair CX-series PSUs because they're poorly made, you might want to look for a more reliable brand/product line.

Now for the positives. A Geforce 750 TI is a good match for what you want to do and I actually own a NXT S340 (White) and it's a very nice case, very easy to keep your build tidy. The RAM you selected is fine too, but you should get DDR4 if you take my...

This is what I'd get, only slightly more.

Firstly, thank you for the advice. Secondly, how bad is the FX-4300? And thirdly, How un-future-proof is the FX-4300?

Thanks again.

Also, I'm not quite sure what this means : "Some AMD 970 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Vishera CPUs."
I know vaguely what a BIOS update is but not if the FX-4300 is Vishera. Also, how would get a BIOS update?
Thanks.

It's like buying a low-end processor from 4 years ago, very noncompetitive. And you don't really need to worry about the motherboard shipping with an old bios, Vishera has been out for ages.

Ok, cool, that's sorted then. I managed to switch a couple of things around and could get the FX-6300 for the same overall price, but would that be future-proof? Or what can I get with the at the same quality for the same price that is future-proof?

If you can answer this that would be amazing (, anyone).
Thanks. :)

One thing please, the FX-4300 uses an AM3+ mobo right, so it could be replaced by a newer CPU as AMD is continuing with this mobo socket.
Please could anyone help with this as I guess then it's all I really would need to know.
Thanks

If I got an i3 it would have to be a Skylake model as that's what Intel is going with from now on, right? But something like the i3 6100 is a bit out of my budget (at the moment). What should I do?
