Is this build good and not overkill?

I was planning on getting these components, but I am not sure if they are properly compatible and if they are not overkill for 2k gaming + VR. Also, I am trying to build it so that it will last a long while, without the need of upgrading. Any suggestions to what upgrade on this build or what to replace? (Lastly, I will sometimes use it for Autocad, Inventor, Photoshop work, but this should not be a problem)
