Is this build good enough to draw 200-300-ish FPS on certain games in 1080p?

Yes, pretty much. Only on some light games though. You'll still hit high hertz on most other games too. Prob between 100-144hz for AAA games at 1080p. You can always lower settings to achieve more FPS.

  • 200/300 is completely dependant on the game. But the 1070Ti is made for 1440p, not 1080p really, so it would be more than enough for 1080p gaming. Also how beneficial this is will also depend on the refresh rate of your monitor.
  • The 1070 Ti doesn't need 750W and in fact only really needs a good quality 500W/550W. So you could save yourself money there.
  • 16GB is 99% time more than enough for gaming. Very very few games use more than that. Unless perhaps you are streaming or performing lots of background tasks.
  • You may find the Intel 660p cheaper than the Samsung drives as an alternative
  • What CAS Latency is the RAM kit?
