Do you have overclocking intentions or expect extreme heat for any reason?

If not, I'd consider stepping down a notch on the Noctua cooler to maybe a U12 or U14 single tower and use the saved money on a 1 TB SSD rather than the 1 TB spinning drive you listed above.

Just my personal preference to try to avoid spinners if at all possible.

Have you confirmed the maximum cooler height acceptable in that Deepcool case?

You can trim some cost on that build and use the savings to move up to a set of 2x16GB of RAM. This psu down below is manufactured by Seasonic for Phanteks.

Phanteks AMP Series 650W 80+ Gold Modular Power Supply $89.50

be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 250W TDP CPU Cooler $89.90

Crucial Ballistix DDR4 3200MHz 32GB (2x16GB) CL16 $118.99

thanks for pointing that out, i'll double-check it just in case. What would be your suggestion for a cabinet that's not too flashy and does the job ? Not interested in anything which omits RGB

thanks for the suggestion. From where i come, getting the Phanteks PSU might be a little bit tough. How does the below sound?

1. PSU - Cooler Master MWE Gold 750 V2 Full Modular, 750W

https://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Maste...50223&sprefix=cooler+master+ps,aps,731&sr=8-2
2. Cooler - DEEPCOOL AK620

Stick with that Seasonic you posted. That's a way better psu than the Cooler Master.

A very nice build.

My only suggestion is to use a 1 or 2 tb m.2 up front for everything and ditch the hard drive.
It is easy to add storage later if you need it.

For gaming, 16gb is good.
If you will be heavily multitasking while gaming, then 32gb might be better.

NH-D15 is good with low profile ram.
It also fits the 165mm of your case.

In my region, the prices are insanely high and i am thinking to drop to 12600K and instead go for 12400F. Couple of questions:

  1. Please suggest a good motherboard to go along with this
  2. Please let me know if any of the components in the original post will be good and the CPU will not bottleneck
  3. Please suggest, if 650 W PSU will be enough

12400f would be very appropriate for you.
For fast action gamers, the limiting factor will be the graphics card and not the cpu.
I would spend the extra $20 or so for the non F version so you get integrated graphics. That gets you started so you can shop for a better graphics card.
12400/f will come with a decent cooler so that part of the budget can go to a stronger graphics card.
Here is a review:
https://www.tomshardware.com/news/i...shardware.com/news/intel-core-i5-12400-review

Look for a B660 based motherboard. I have no brand preference.
Many will be in the smaller and less expensive MATX format.
Look for DDR4 versions.
"bottleneck" is not a good term.
There is always a limiting factor and it will depend on the game.
Fast action games tend to be limited by the graphics card.
CPU centric games like sims, mmo, and strategy games tend to be limited by the single thread performance of the master thread.
Multiplayer likes many threads.

If you have a pc now, run the cpu-Z bench test and look at the single thread performance rating.
You might get 702 from the 12400:

The PSU wattage you need is primarily determined by the graphics card.
I find this chart useful:
http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/Page362.htm
650w/750w would be fine for a 3060.
The incremental cost from 650 to 750 to 850 is usually not great so I would buy the strongest.
A psu will only use what is demanded of it, regardless of the max capability. The seasonic focus will have a 7 or 10 year warranty wich is some indicator of good quality.
