That is the build I plan on making and I was wondering if there are any components there that would either not work together or parts that wouldn’t function well.

my main concern is the fan as I’m unsure it will be good enough

this build is designed for gaming and I can increase the budget if necessary

What other Corsair PSUs can you find within your budget? Maybe from CX series? Anything from EVGA, Seasonic, Superflower?

I'd certainly try to get 12th generation parts if you want Intel....12000 series CPUs and 600 series motherboards.

Drive and case and RAM look OK.

Not excited by the CPU cooler, but it is "adequate".

Your parts total 1035 pounds. What is the absolute limit? 1300? 1500?

I assume you do not need a monitor.

What games and what settings?

Two issues, rest of the build is reasonable.

Firstly is top m2 slot requires 11th gen to work and pcie slot limited to gen 3 with 10th gen. If you're ok with that, you can use 2nd m2 slot with 10th gen since this is operated by the chipset not directly from cpu.

Secondly try find a case with intake fans instead of a solid panel if you want decent cooling performance.

This should be better...

thank you for the build suggestion my only concern is that the website says that the motherboard will be using an older bios which won’t be able to support the cpu should I be worried about that?

I found this case would this be suitable or do you believe I should use the build suggested above

That is concerning IF TRUE.

I would have thought that any B660 board would support a 12500 out of the box.

It may well be that any B660 you buy today will have the newer required BIOS, but I don't know how you could confirm that prior to the purchase.

Regarding cases....they are highly personal choices. Most any will "work", but may have peculiarities you'd rather avoid.

Are you highly concerned with the case's appearance?

After it's built, do you anticipate re-opening the case frequently barring a parts failure? If not, maybe you can tolerate the shortcomings.

You do need to confirm that the case is wide enough to accommodate your chosen cooler.

And I'd try to get above average airflow.

Decent brands: Lian Li, Phanteks, Fractal Design.

The board has good specs. for high performance, the BIOS disclaimer is to get rid of inconsistencies and instabilities and unlock all the features of the platform. In simple terms, it might still work with the older BIOS but the new version will make it smoother. You should confirm that with customer support though. In case you want to go with plug and play option, the Asus board linked is compatible out of the box and has equally good features. Also a better case linked around the same price as the iCUE...
