Hi, my PSU only came with one PCIe cable so I need to buy another one. I have a Corsair RM750x and found this cable on ebay. Is it the right cable? It says so but I want to be certain before risking my PC.

Thanks

AMD RYZEN 5 7600X

ASUS ROG B650-A

2x16GB CORS VENG RGB 6000 C30W

Freezer III 240 A-RGB

ASUS DUAL RTX 4070S 12G EVO OC

1TB Kioxia EXCERIA PLUS NVMe

Corsair RM750x 750 Watt Fully Modular 80+ Gold Refurbished

All are new from scan.co.uk, the PSU was refurbished also from scan.

Edit: This is because I read that you should connect two separate PCIe cables to the 12v adapter that connects to the GPU.

Hello again, I bought a new type 4 pcie cable but I can't find the right place to plug it in on my PSU.

The cable labelled A goes to my mobo and B is the pcie cable going to my GPU. Where do I plug the 2nd PCIE cable?

What do you mean? I already have one.
I think this is what he means: The use of adapter cables has lead to connector melting issues with others.

When you connect the aforementioned 12VHPWR adapter cable that came with your GPU to the PCIe power cables, you introduce a potential problem.

You are better served with the 12VHPWR connected directly to the PSU and NOT using any adapter cables.
