I have picked a new processor and was hoping if someone could tell me if it will work in my computer

No, it does not work like that. Stick to what they suggest.

The 5800K is almost as good as the 6800K, so just get it.

I've already ordered it though, when I go to collect it I will just ask in store, I checked 4 other sites after what you said and they said it does work :s
