Would it work if I got a superclocked 1050 ti on a non overclockable motherboard? Just wondering if the GPU would go faster.

Overclocking feature on a board is related to the processor, not to the video card. Any card should work on the board, overclocked or otherwise. And it will work at its given specs, no issues.
