Agreed. For $400, it's okay, but what you're investing in is a platform that has reached the end of its life cycle; i.e. Buying a nintendo wii right before the Wii U, xbox one and playstation 4 comes out.

In other words, that technology is quite dated and unfortunately, if you were to save an additional $300-400, you could buy current generation products that are 50% faster than the configuration you have. Aim for that $800 sweet spot so you can play games and work productively at a high performance.

Again, i repeat if you're on a low budget, avoid video games temporarily and work on your career. Video games are a reward for your hard work (like going out to the movies or eating out at a nice restaurant). I'd hate to play video...

short answer no the a88x is a dead platform now it hasnt got a hope

the amd cards are also getting a upgrade if this is a rig your gonna build id hold out till least october to see what the new cards have on offer considering a 470 by amd is always good also never use lc power supplys they are trash go with either corsair seasonic or evga

Video games are a reward for your hard work (like going out to the movies or eating out at a nice restaurant). I'd hate to play video games on medium settings. If you truly want to have a great experience with games, you should try to save up for a $800 budget. cheers!
