Hey there
I own an Acer 475G core i3 with 2133 MHz support of RAM frequency laptop.
The laptop came with 4 GB Adata DDR4 2400 MHz CL17 RAM. After too many years, I decided to add some RAM to my device (Haha).
So I bought an 8 GB Adata DDR4 3200 MHz CL22 Ram, Why? 'Cause Rams with lower Frequency like 2400 or 2133 MHz are 20% more expensive in my country Iran, wired, right? Never mind.
These pictures are from my RAM configuration after i Install them on my laptop.
Q:
— Is everything fine?
— Does my laptop work on Dual channel Now?
— What is the Delay for my RAMs, CL22 or CL17?

This laptop?

The posted images show that 2 of 4 slots are being used. The laptop only has 2 slots.

(Unsure about why Task Manager > Memory is reports 2 of 4 at 2133 MHz. Someone else may post some explanation or clarifications.)

To use or otherwise take advantage of Dual Channel, the installed RAM must be supported by the laptop's motherboard and be a matched kit ( for example: 2 x 8GB) with RAM modules paired to work together.

Supported speed then being 2133 MHz. Installing slower speed RAMs will limit the speed to that of the slowest RAM.

Faster RAMs will just be slowed down to supported speeds.

Use the following links to delve deeper and understand more about what CPU-z is indicating. You will need to check multiple tabs to get a sense of it all.

My thought being that the laptop may perform better with only the "new" 8 GB RAM installed.
