Is this CPU compitable with my motherboard?

I want to buy an Intel Core i7 4790K processor, I am no expert so I am wondering if it is compitable with my MSI B75MA-P45 motherboard.

Sorry if I am posting this at the wrong place or something, because this is my first post.

No it will only support a 3rd Gen Intel CPU. Its socket 1155 while the I7 4790K is socket 1150. It will support a I7 3770K.

Its a 1155 socket, the i7 4790K is a 1150 socket so no it will not work.

The fastest CPU that MB will support is a I7-3770K or a Intel Xeon E3-1280 (which is alot more expensive).
