Can you tell me what the SKU/model number for your i5 is? To me it looks like two surface mounted capacitors are missing. I could be wrong though.

Yes i think they are, i also asked this on Reddit and two guys said the same thing. It's the intel i5 760 an dhere is the picture of a new one https://images.bit-tech.net/content_images/2010/07/intel-core-i5-655k-review/i5-655k01-1280x1024.jpg Do you think I can still use it? It'd be very sad as my current CPU is an intel of the second generation

due to the two missing SMD's i would say no it wont work. You could try to find the same SMD's and resolder them.
