Hi
I have a Intel Q8200 which has clockspeed at 2.GHz.
Today, I have to remove heatsink temporarily in order to install a new PSU in my case.
I also buy a new compound thermal tube for it, and after I remove it, I see very very little coupound themal attached to it, so I decide to just add some thermal on it. I know I am suppose to remove old thermal first then put new one on it, but I dont have fancy sheet to remove it, and I dont want ot try alcohol...

I would like to know is my cpu's new temperture fine?

Before
IDLE: 36-37 degree

After
IDLE: 36-37 degree

40% load: 45 degree

Is this temperture normal? well I dont what's its previous 40% load temperture.

Solution
Ok .. . ran at bencmark cinebech 11.5 your cpu will ran at 100%, software stabillity intel burn test ( you do not need this, it's only for overclock) etc , and you said game 55C it's ok and cool.

how do I run my hardware to 100%? when i checked my temperture during gaming, i get 40%-80% load with tempeture around 45-55C.

thanks
