Is this future proof for atleast 2yrs?

Building my first PC for gaming and i would like to know if this future proof for at least 2yrs



CPU AMD phenom II X4 965 black edition

MOBO Gigabyte GA-790FXTA-UD5

GPU asus hd6850 x2 crossfire

Memory G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600

psu 700w

if you got usb3 and sata 3 on that mobo then sure, spend the extra for a six core in my opinion

Depends a lot on your requirements. Seeing you want to go with dual GPUs implies that you want to run today's games in high settings with perfectly smooth framerates. Doubt you can do the same 2 years down the road.

You could also consider the option of getting a 2nd GPU later on. Just start with 6870, 6950 and get a similar one later when prices have dropped (and when you need a bit of boost).

To be more specific I need to know if my mobo and cpu will be future proof the gpu's I can upgrade if I need to.
