You are asking the wrong question.

Question should be " I want to play Minecraft, my PC specs are .... my budget is.... what card should I get"

Your issue with Minecraft is likely not just the video card, it's an older motherboard and you could also have a slow CPU or not enough RAM.

Another reason why I say you are asking the wrong question is that for games, the HD 6450 is a horrible card to get. It's ranked 519th on the PassMark charts, for even a low end gaming card you are looking for a card in the 200 ranking.

It would be like someone going to a surgery website and asking "I want to do some brain surgery, should I use a Mikita drill or a Skill to drill the hole in the skull?". Sure one of them may be better than the other...

So your question will that card work with the motherboard, yes. But you don't want to use it without giving us some more details. I'll tell you right now that you will not play Minecraft well on a card under $60-70 new. Maybe a used $40 card will handle it like a 9800GT or a Radeon 7750 but you may also need a CPU, powersupply and RAM upgrade.

A old mobo, older then the g31 and the g41. It may support but its useless to buy such a card. atleast try to stay new and get a new mobo, cpu and gpu. If u cant buy it now, get a second hand g41 mobo and a second hand intel core 2 quad from ebay and a good gpu like r7 250 or r7 260x to handle minecraft and other games also. And mention ur budget also.
