So I am looking to get into mild gaming for example titles such as Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 or Counter Strike Global Offensive. I am looking to play games that do not require a strong computer but are relatively newer series for example 2011 - 2012 or older, as I am building up my first computer as a budget build.

So far my specifications:
CPU - Intel core 2 duo E8400 3.0GHZ
RAM - 4GB DDR2 RAM

I need to know whether this graphics card will be acceptable to my requirements: Asus GeForce GT 210 1GB (Take a look below)

Could you recommend any decent graphics cards which are dedicated? Around the £20 - £30 price mark. I am on a very tight budget.

i agree with you, with the gt 610 he would only be able to play cs at 720p low settinhs with 25 fps at best

hmm... I need some explanation on graphics cards, I thought the 1gb ddr3 dedicated graphics card could handle decent games even CS GO at good frame rate all on the lowest settings. Is the video card I want to get not dedicated? Could it runs titles like modern warfare 2?

Not all graphics cards are necessarily for gaming. They can be replacements for integrated graphics, which the majority of the GPU's below 40 GBP are. They are for general display of the monitor, the video playback etc. but not gaming. The GT 210 is just outdated, let's not even get into that.

VRAM and memory type are irrelevant compared to the specs that really matter in a graphics card for gaming.

i know some one(my best friend) who went the same rought as you he has a a4 3400 and wanted to inprove his gaming experience so i told him to buy gtx 750 ti and then up grade his cpu to a fx 6300. while instead of doing that he saw a firestorm gpu that had 2gb of gddr5 vram that was being sold second hand for 60 bucks so he bought it (like a dumbass). note to say it runs games very very poorly,
